1984 is open every Thursday night at the Cat Club in San Francisco. There are 2 floors for dancing. The front room is mostly about 80's pop, rock and one hit wonders with DJ's Damon and Jules. The back room features more of the underground 80's sound such as Gothic, Industrial, Synth-Pop/Electro sounds as spun by Dangerous Dan and Special Guests.

1984 is open from 9pm - 3am. Cover is only $6 - FREE before 9:30 - (except on special events). You must be over 21 to come down. No real dress code, but we highly encourage you to dig out some old 80's rags...

On Friday, October 3rd, you are cordially invited to Strangelove's UNDEAD WEDDING! DJs Melting Girl (Death Guild, Gossip) and Tomas Diablo (Strangelove, Rock This Town) will be spinning Dark Electro, Industrial, New Wave and Goth in the back Reception Hall, and DJs Merrick (Death Guild, Aural Apocalypse) and Persephone (PEERS, Tributum Noctis) will be spinning Swirly Goth, Death Rock, Neo-Folk, and Ethereal in the front Ceremony Chapel.

We will be performing wedding ceremonies throughout the night, and you can marry ANYONE - living OR dead *. Wedding certificates will be available to mark the occasion. Enjoy a slice of wedding cake and have your picture taken by our wedding photographers. And it's Free Admission for zombie brides and zombie grooms (= formal attire + zombie makeup) !

Strangelove is every first Friday at the CAT CLUB (Folsom and 8th), with different themes and guests every month. There's lots of room to dance and socialize, and if you keep dancing, we keep the party going until 3AM!

On Friday, June 6th, Strangelove pays TRIBUTE TO THE SISTERS OF MERCY. Tomas Diablo and guest DJs LowLife (1984, New Wave City) and Fact50 (Debauchery, Less Than Zero) spin the best of the Sisters and their side projects, as well as like-minded Dark Electro, Industrial, New Wave, and Goth.

Strangelove is every first Friday at the CAT CLUB (Folsom and 8th). There's plenty of room to dance around and we keep the party going until 3AM! The DJs play music in the back room, and it's piped through to the front room at a lower volume, giving you the chance to chat at the bar without losing your voice.

in San Francisco. There are 2 floors for dancing.
The front room is mostly about 80's pop, rock
and one hit wonders with DJ's Damon and Jules.
The back room features more of the
underground 80's sound such as Gothic,
Industrial, Synth-Pop/Electro sounds as
spun by Dangerous Dan and Special Guests.

1984 is open from 9pm - 3am. Cover is only $6 -
FREE before 9:30 - (except on special events).
You must be over 21 to come down. No real dress code,
but we highly encourage you to dig out
some old 80's rags...

This Friday, February 1st, Strangelove celebrates it's THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Tomas Diablo and special guests Melting Girl (Death Guild, 1984) and DJ John (New Wave City, 1984) spin the best Dark Electro, Industrial, New Wave, and Goth.

We'll be giving away copies of the 'Strangelove: Year 3' CD to the first 30 people after 10PM - and birthday cake for everyone later in the evening!

Strangelove is now first Fridays at the CAT CLUB (Folsom and 8th). There's plenty of room to dance around and we keep the party going until 3AM! The DJs play music in the back room, and it's piped through to the front room at a lower volume, giving you the chance to chat at the bar without losing your voice.

There's no Confusion - everyone will have a Fine Time!

Strangelove is now first Fridays at Julie's Supper Club (7th and Folsom)! The spacious dancefloor is in a separate room from the gorgeous bar and lounge, so you always have the option to dance or to enjoy drinks and conversation in the lounge. Julie's also has parking available in the Jiffy Lube lot next door (just ask our doorperson for a parking pass or you could get towed)!
